Bernice is a small, yet vibrant community in North Central Louisiana. With the population at approximately 1,800 people the incorporated area is about three square miles.
Bernice is located 15 miles south of the Arkansas state line in Union Parish. The business district is bisected by US Highway 167, North and South, and Louisiana Highway 2, East and West. Bernice is also 20 miles from Interstate 20 at Ruston, Louisiana.
