In January 1990, "The Independent" was joined by a sister paper, "TheIndependent on Sunday", extending its coverage over the whole week. "TheIndependent on Sunday" has three sections, one covering general news and currentaffairs analysis, one covering commerce and business and a third containing artsreviews and general interest features. In common with other British Sundaynewspapers, The Independent on Sunday concentrates on detailed and extendedreporting of the major current stories.
