THE MEADOW LAKE PROGRESS is a Sunday paper with a circulation of 3,032, covers not only the town of Meadow Lake but also the surrounding district. Forestry and agriculture are particularly important to this northern Saskatchewan community, especially with two major mills in the area. Aboriginal issues are also vital, with one reserve right by Meadow Lake and others in the area. Meadow Lake is located one and one half hours north of North Battleford.
