The Malayan Law Journal Articles (MLJART) are drawn from the Malayan Law Journal report series. The printed version of the Malayan Law Journal includes both case
reports as well as academic articles and professional notices. From 1932 to
2001, articles were published in the front of each volume of MLJ. They were
paginated with Roman numerals to distinguish them from the case reports. From
January 2002 onwards, separate Article Supplements have been published on a
monthly basis. These monthly supplements are consolidated into a bound volume
every three months.

The articles as they appear on LexisNexis include two citations - the original
citation which matches the printed version (e.g. [2001] 2 MLJ xvi) and a
LexisNexis-specific citation (e.g. 2001 2 MLJA 16), which merely replaces the
"MLJ" report series with "MLJA" and the Roman numeral page numbers with the
equivalent regular numbers. The page numbers as they appear within the text use
regular numbers, which ties back to the MLJA citation.
