The Restatement of the Law, Rules files contain the Rules,Comments and Notes regarding the common law of a specificRestatement subject as set forth by the American Law Institute.
As a general rule, each 'Black Letter Rule' is accompanied bycomments, illustrations and Reporter's Notes. Additionally, anysupplementary material, references (ALR and Digest numbers) andnotes are attached. Occasionally, historical, scope andintroductory notes will stand alone as documents.
