Description	The Ohio Surface Mining Statutes and Regulations file contains Ohio rules andregulations governing surface mining operations in that State. The data in this file was compiled by the Department of Interior, Office ofSurface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM).  OSM has decided to make thismaterial available to the public through the LEXIS/NEXIS Service. A state file exists for each state possibly making a submission to OSM under theCOALEX program.  The state files contain statutory and regulatory material andAttorney Generals' letters from the first sets of submissions from each state.Subsequent submissions, such as the State's statutes and regulations promulgatedin response to changes in the Federal regulations, will be added as programamendments are approved by OSM. Amended items will contain the revision of the section plus the full text of thesection to which the revision refers, with all appropriate changes edited intothe text of that section.
